Jenna Ortega starrer Wednesday set a new record at Netflix surpassing Stranger Things to become the English language series with the biggest debut on Netflix.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the Addams Family offshoot racked up 341.2 million hours of viewing worldwide last week, according to Netflix’s internal measurement. That tops the 335 million hours for Stranger Things 4 the week of May 30-June 5 as the best week for any English language series on the streamer.
Wednesday hit No. 1 in 83 countries for the week, tying Stranger Things 4. As per the report, Netflix estimates that more than 50 million households worldwide watched at least part of the series, dividing the total viewing by the season’s running time of about six hours.
Meanwhile, South Korean hit thriller Squid Game stays put with its all-time mark on Netflix with 571.76 million hours viewed for the week of September 27-October 3, 2021. Netflix's other major hit this year The Jeffrey Dahmer Story never garnered around 299 million in one week.
Speaking of Wednesday, the show is described as a "sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery" series which will follow Wednesday as she navigates life at Nevermore Academy, a boarding school for outcasts. The teen "attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore," per the synopsis.
In addition to Ortega, Wednesday stars Gwendoline Christie, Jamie McShane, Percy Hynes White, Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Naomi J Ogawa, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer and Riki Lindhome. Christina Ricci, who played Wednesday in the 1990s Addams Family movies, along with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Fred Armisen and Isaac Ordonez.

The IFFI jury head and Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid made a rather powerful statement after watching one of the biggest releases of the year, The Kashmir Files. The filmmaker was reportedly left quite ‘shocked’ after watching this Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi starrer and even accused it to be a part of a ‘propoganda’ film and went on to call it ‘vulgar’. While many filmmakers, actors, and other members of the fraternity lashed out on Lapid for making these comments, now Israel Counsel General Kobbi Shoshani have also extended his support for the same.
Anupam Kher recently met up with Israel Counsel General Kobbi Shoshani and shared a video of the same on his social media. The actor also shared in this post about Mr. Shoshani visiting his school Actor Prepares, which is an educational institute for aspiring actors and actresses. In the video posted by Kher, Israel Counsel General Kobbi Shoshani not only revealed that he saw the film The Kashmir Files, a year ago and also expressed his love for the film. He not only apologized for the comment made by Nadav Lapid during IFFI 2022 but also added that his was a private opinion that does not represent the entire country of Israel. He went on assert that it is possibly the opinion of a minority group.
Not too long ago, after Lapid made his comments about the film, Anupam Kher too shared a video slamming the filmmaker for making such nasty remarks about the Vivek Agnihotri directorial, For the unversed, The Kashmir Files is inspired by real life events which includes the exodus of Kashmiri pandits from the state.

Known for his power packed roles, action hero Tiger Shroff was brought on board by filmmaker Jagan Shakti for his next, which is expected to be an action thriller. Recent reports suggest that actress Sara Ali Khan has been roped in as the leading lady for this venture and she will be joining the team soon to kick off work on it. Produced by Jackky Bhagnani, the film is expected to be a quintessential commercial potboiler as Tiger becomes the man fighting all odds to ensure that the good wins over evil.
As per reports in Pinkvilla, with Sara Ali Khan joining the cast, the makers are thrilled because they were keen on bringing a new onscreen pairing on board. While Sara has acted with heroes like the late Sushant Singh Rajput, Kartik Aaryan, Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh, in the past, the actress will be paired opposite Tiger for the first time in a film. Furthermore, reports also have it that the film is expected to go on floors on December 10 and will be shot across India as well as Europe.
The mission-based film is said to be currently in the pre-production stage. These reports stated that producer Jackky Bhagnani and Jagan Shakti are working towards making a big budget action thriller with some powerful adrenaline pumping stunts in the film and never-seen-before sequences. While the makers are in search for the actor who will essay the role of antagonist, an official announcement of the casting is expected to be made in next few days. Produced under the banner Pooja Entertainment, the film is said to be having a theatrical release.
Coming to other projects, Tiger Shroff has Ganapath with Kriti Sanon, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Akshay Kumar in the pipeline whereas Sara Ali Khan has Gaslight with Vikrant Massey and Laxman Utekar’s next with Vicky Kaushal in her kitty.

Actress Helena Bonham Carter defended her Alice in Wonderland co-star Johnny Depp and also expressed support for Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling for her stance on trans-genders. According to Entertainment Weekly, the actress shared that she thinks Depp was “completely vindicated” in his defamation trial against his former wife Amber Heard. “I think he's fine now. Totally fine," she said in a recent interview for Times magazine.
Bonham Carter's comments come months after a Virginia jury found that Heard defamed Depp in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed about domestic violence, though she didn't name her ex-husband in the article. Following the months long U.S. trial, Depp was awarded more than $10 million in damages, and Heard won one of her defamation counterclaims and was awarded $2 million.
Meanwhile with regards to Rowling, Bonham Carter said, "It's horrendous, a load of bollocks. I think she has been hounded. It's been taken to the extreme, the judgmentalism of people. She's allowed her opinion, particularly if she's suffered abuse. Everybody carries their own history of trauma and forms their opinions from that trauma and you have to respect where people come from and their pain.”
“You don't all have to agree on everything — that would be insane and boring,” she added. “She's not meaning it aggressively, she's just saying something out of her own experience.” As the outlet notes, Rowling has said in the past that she's not anti-trans and that she supports trans people. However, the Harry Potter creator has repeatedly come under fire by LGBTQ activists and organizations for her much-criticized remarks regarding the transgender community.
In 2020, Rowling wrote an op-ed where she argued for the need for safe single-sex spaces for women as non-gendered public bathrooms were introduced. In the op-ed she shared her own experience of domestic abuse and being a sexual assault survivor. When asked if Potter actors who have criticized Rowling’s stance (including Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint) were “ungrateful,” Bonham Carter said, “I won’t say that.”
“Personally, I feel they should let her have her opinions, but I think they’re very aware of protecting their own fan base and their generation,” she added. “It’s hard. One thing with the fame game is that there’s an etiquette that comes with it; I don’t agree with talking about other famous people.”
Bonham Carter spoke to the Sunday Times Magazine after being named the first female president of the London Library.

Will Smith, who is currently on press tour for his upcoming film Emancipation, addressed the audience who are not ready for the actor’s comeback with his first film since he slapped Chris Rock on stage at the Oscars.
“I completely understand — if someone is not ready, I would absolutely respect that and allow them their space to not be ready,” Smith said in a recent interview. “My deepest concern is my team – Antoine has done what I think is the greatest work of his entire career. The people on this team have done some of the best work of their entire careers, and my deepest hope is that my actions don’t penalize my team. At this point, that’s what I’m working for.”
“I’m hoping that the material — the power of the film, the timeliness of the story — I’m hoping that the good that can be done would open people’s hearts at a minimum to see and recognize and support the incredible artists in and around this film,” he added. Following the infamous 2022 Oscar slapgate, Smith resigned from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and was later given a 10-year ban from attending the Oscars in light of his actions at the March 27 ceremony.

Meanwhile, Emancipation tells the triumphant story of Peter (Smith), a man who escapes from slavery, relying on his wits, unwavering faith and deep love for his family to evade cold-blooded hunters and the unforgiving swamps of Louisiana on his quest for freedom.
The film is inspired by the 1863 photos of “Whipped Peter,” taken during a Union Army medical examination, that first appeared in Harper’s Weekly. One image, known as “The Scourged Back,” which shows Peter’s bare back mutilated by a whipping delivered by his enslavers, ultimately contributed to growing public opposition to slavery.
The film is directed by Antoine Fuqua, from a script by William N. Collage. The film is produced by Will Smith and Jon Mone through Westbrook Studios, Joey McFarland though McFarland Entertainment and Todd Black through Escape Artists. Chris Brigham, Antoine Fuqua, James Lassiter, Heather Washington, Cliff Roberts, Glen Basner and Scott Greenberg are executive producing.
Emancipation premieres in theaters on December 2 and then streams on Apple TV+ December 9 onwards.

Akshay Kumar has become the go-to actor for Bollywood when it comes to films with nationalistic themes. Similarly, over the last few years, Taapsee Pannu has become a thriller specialist. After Badla, Game Over, Haseen Dilruba, Looop Lapeta and Dobaaraa, we can now add Blurr in the list. The film is the Hindi adaptation of the Spanish thriller Julia’s Eyes.
The film’s trailer, which is just released, reveals that it deals with the story of twins Gayatri and Gautami, both played by Taapsee Pannu. Gayatri’s life turns upside down when Gautami, who was visually challenged, dies by suicide, at least this is what the cops conclude.
Gayatri, however, is sure that her sister can’t end her life and starts investigating her death. Her husband (Gulshan Devaiah) doesn’t support her though as he is satisfied with the version of the cops. What’s worse for Gayatri is that she too is slowly losing her eyesight.
The trailer makes it clear that Blurr goes onto the thriller mode right from the start. Apart from the story, that’s both intriguing and tragic, the technical departments, including the colour grading, gets your attention. The trailer ends on a creepy note when a character is throwing light from the torch on Gayatri’s face but all she can see is darkness.
Taapsee appears in good form as a woman troubled by multiple reasons. The rest of the actors don’t get much screentime in the trailer.
Directed by Ajay Bahl and produced by Tony D’Souza, Pradeep Sharma and Manav Durga, Blurr will stream on Zee 5 from December 9.

Kiara Advani, who is currently on a career high with films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Jugjugg Jeeyo, will next be seen in Govinda Naam Mera along with her Lust Stories co-star Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar. The film will feature her in the role of a dancer, and Vicky’s character Govinda’s girlfriend. And now recent update is that the actress has decided to come on board as a solo lead for a film tentatively titled Lamb which is expected to be a heist thriller.
As per Peeping Moon reports, the film will be directed by Karthik Calling Karthik director Vijay Lalwani and it is expected to feature an ensemble supporting cast. However, details of the same are kept under wraps. Although there have been no details on the kind of role the actress will be seen in, reports assert that it is a never-seen-before avatar of the actress. Interestingly, this film marks her third solo lead film after Guilty and Indoo Ki Jawani, both of which released on Netflix.
These reports also claim that Lamb will go on floors in February next year and it is expected to be produced by Niraj Kothari and Sarita A. Tanwar under the banner 11:11 Productions.
Coming to the actress’ schedule, Kiara is currently promoting Govinda Naam Mera with her team. She is also shooting for Satyaprem Ki Katha, which features her alongside her Bhool Bhulaiyya 2 co-star Kartik Aaryan. Besides these two, she will also be reuniting with Ram Charan for his yet-to-be-titled RC15. In fact, the actress recently shared a social media post from the sets of the film in New Zealand where they are shooting for a special song from the film.
On the other hand, Vijay Lalwani is also busy working on his film Empire featuring Taapsee Pannu, Arvind Swami, among others.

Just a couple of days back, the Dil Bechara actress Sanjana Sanghi had taken to her social media sharing a glimpse of her reading what seemed to be a script. In fact, the actress even teased her fans to take a guess at her next project. Well, Bollywood Hungama has now exclusively learnt that Sanjana will be seen in Pink director Anirudh Roy Choudhary’s untitled next.
Confirming the same a source close to the developments tells Bollywood Hungama, “Yes, Sanjana has been signed on for the venture and will be seen sharing screens space with Pankaj Tripathi and Parvathy Thiruvothu. Besides these three, the film will also include a few other names, which the makers are keeping under wraps for now.” Ask for more details about the project and the source continues, “The untitled venture will be directed by Anirudh Roy Choudhary of Pink fame, and will be produced under the Wiz Films banner which is also developing the docu-series on Salman Khan, Beyond The Star.”
As for the shoot and eventual release of the film the source further adds, “Right now only the cast and story have been locked. Pre-production will begin shortly. For now, an official announcement of the venture will be made in the coming days.”

Amidst tough competition between popular celebrities, the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 has finally come to an end. Featuring Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar, Nora Fatehi, and Terence Lewis as its judges, the show had an interesting mix of celebrities, from popular TV stars to a chef to a junior dancing talent as its contestants. The much talked about grand finale, which had Rubina Dilaik, Faisal Shaikh aka, Mr. Faisu, amongst others as its finalists, saw child celebrity dancer Gunjan Sinha as the winner. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Gunjan opened up about being a part of the show.
Talking about something that she learned from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10, Gunjan Sinha revealed that she sought inspiration for all her dances from none other than judge Madhuri Dixit. Gunjan told Bollywood Hungama, “I have learned a lot from Madhuri ma’am and her dance videos. I have always loved the kind of expression she gives. All my performances, by far, have been inspired by the way she used to give expressions in her dances.” Furthermore, the 8-year-old also spoke about the kind of bond she shares with her team members adding, “I am very glad to have met some of the biggest artists in the industry like Faisu bhaiyya (Faisal Shaikh), Niti didi (Niti Taylor), Amruta ma’am (Amruta Khanvilkar).” She further went on to add how her hard work has finally paid off. “Considering that there were so many big celebrities on the show, we worked really hard to win the trophy. And I am glad our dreams came true.”
Recalling the time she danced ‘Apsara Aali’ on the show, Gunjan went on to add, “It was my favourite performance. We performed Lavani and I received a standing ovation. It was such a surreal moment for me. In fact, everyone liked my performance so much that they described my dance as a different show altogether. I remember the judges saying that they are a part of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa but I am a part of Gunjan Dikhhla Jaa. I laughed so hard. I can never forget that moment.”

On November 25, the Cyber Cell Division of Mumbai police arrested an ex-staff member of Puneet Issar after the former allegedly tried to rob his boss of Rs. 17 lakhs. This staff member named Abhishek Narayan is said to have quit before committing the crime and hacked the filmmaker-actor’s email ID for the con. When the suspicious filmmaker-actor approached the police, the latter nabbed the culprit from the Madh area of Mumbai with the help of his bank details.
Talking about the incident, the Mumbai police revealed that Abhishek Narayan, who worked for Puneet Issar as his light man, had broken into the email account of the actor after he quit his job. He sent an email to the NCPA (National Centre of Performing Arts) where the actor was supposed to hold his play Jai Shri Ram in January 2023. In the email sent by Narayan, he requested the NCPA authorities to cancel the play and asked for a refund which was worth Rs. 17 lakhs, that was paid to them as an advance. When Puneet attempted to login to his account, he was unable to do so and after growing suspicious about it, he approached the Cyber Cell Division at the Oshiwara Police station.
As per reports, the police immediately took action and made the arrest within 24 hours of the crime. After his complaint was registered, the police contacted the NCPA authorities to investigate the matter. With their help, the police retrieved details of the bank account in which the money was transferred. Along with that, they also received the phone number of the accused and immediately tracked down his location. From what we hear, while the Puneet Issar used an iPhone, the accused was using a Chinese model to hack the email ID.

The much awaited and hyped teaser of Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus throws a surprise. Instead of showing a glimpse of the movie, which teasers normally do, this one has its long list of cast speaking about what one can expect from the movie.
So we have two Ranveer Singhs and Varun Sharmas, along with Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Manoj Tiwari, Tiku Talsania, Brijendra Kala, Siddharth Jadhav and Ashwini Kalsekar highlighting that the film is based in the 1960s when there was no internet and social media.
However, despite providing info about the film, the teaser of Cirkus, as expected from a Shetty comedy, is also filled with humour. The joke on Panvel and Johnny Lever being called Malinga are noteworthy moments.
Cirkus is adapted from William Shakespeare’s classic story The Comedy Of Errors. It’s the story of two set of twins who get interchanged during childhood and how this leads to chaos when they grow up.
Cirkus is Ranveer’s second full-fledged role in a movie directed by Shetty after Simmba. He played a cameo, along with Ajay Devgn, in the filmmaker’s last outing Sooryavanshi.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Rohit Shetty Productionz, the keenly awaited trailer of Cirkus will drop on December 2, while the film will be released during the Christmas period on December 23.

After making a brief cameo appearance in Guest In London, and marking her digital debut with Karoline Kamakshi, Italian model-actress Giorgia Andriani often grabs the attention for her stunning outfits. Though she has not done any big-screen project or a music video in 2022, media reports often speculate about her upcoming project.
Recently, during a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Andriani gave clarity on the matter and revealed what are her plans for the future. When asked to shed some light on her plans, she asserted, “I just know that for now, I feel like doing music videos because in just a few minutes you have the opportunity to connect with people.”
Elaborating further, she added, “A film is three hours long and it communicates a lot and there's definitely so many chances to connect. However, in a three-minute music video, you still have that opportunity because there's still one story and there are still lyrics that people relate to so for now because it's the beginning of my career I am loving what I'm doing, music videos, for now, is my plan.”
She also asserted, “Life has its own intelligence. I think you can kind of know where you want to go but then it's up to destiny I think so for now I'm just polishing myself.” She also admitted that the plan of being a director is still on along with trying her hand in script writing as well. She concluded by saying, “that (being a director) is still on. However, for now, it's just on a standstill; I will see in the future. I want to be ready for that as well so that will take time.”

Filmmaker-actress duo Karan Johar and Kajol have been friends since childhood. The BFFs of Bollywood have given a bunch of hit projects, including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, among others. However, their relationship worsened when Karan’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgn starrer Shivaay clashed at the box office. Though the duo resolved their differences briefly, fans eagerly waited for them to reunite. And, now, it seems the wait will be over soon as their reunion is on the cards for the debut project of Ibrahim Ali Khan.
If a report by PeeingMoon is something to go by, then Kajol and KJo are all set to join hands for the debut project of Ibrahim Ali Khan. Interestingly, the duo will come together after 12 years. For the unversed, they last worked together for the 2010’s release My Name Is Khan starring Shah Rukh Khan. Talking about the report of the portal, Kajol has signed Karan’s next production venture, to be directed by Kayoze Irani. She is said to have joined the cast to play a lead role alongside debutante Ibrahim Ali Khan.
Quoting an industry source, the report said, “Kajol will play an emotionally strong character and will share the maximum screen time with Ibrahim Ali Khan. She has worked with Ibrahim’s father, Saif Ali Khan, in films like Dillagi, Hameshaa, and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, and is thrilled to act with his son now in his very first film. Ibrahim has also started his prep and is readying himself to share screen space with seasoned actors like Kajol.”
However, neither the actress nor the filmmaker has made any official announcement of the same. The report also added that the casting for the other pivotal parts of the forthcoming project is underway in Mumbai.

Babil Khan, son of the late Irrfan Khan, is making his debut with the Netflix film Qala. It is generally believed that star kids have it easy when it comes to getting the first break. But Babil says that that wasn’t the case with him since he has had to struggle like any other newcomer.
In a chat with Hindustan Times, Babil said, “I don’t think my mother (producer Sutapa Sikdar) can ever pick up the phone and ask for a favour. I have to go give auditions nahi to aisi maar padegi ghar pe (else I would get a thrashing at home). That is our sanskaar. There is no possibility of breaking that. Even now, I am giving auditions and I get rejected a lot. Even today, if there is an audition I really want to crack and I mess it up, she will be so angry at me. But she will never pick up the phone and say, ‘kara do isko’. That is against our values. I think people also understand that.”
Directed by Anvita Dutt, Qala also stars Tripti Dimri and Swastika Mukherjee. The film is based in the film industry of the 1940s.
Babil knows the kind of expectations people have for him because of him being the son of the great Irrfan Khan. “I am always comparing myself to the legacy…you know, bhaar hai,” he added. “I am a person who wants to give the best when I am doing something. We shot this (Qala) two years ago. I have grown as an actor a lot. So, I always wonder ‘I wish I would have done this or that’. But I also believe that whatever art you make has its own journey and you can’t bring your own ego into it.”
Looking back at his father’s way of working, Babil said, “Baba’s entire work was always about the connect with people. He didn’t care about awards, or who was producing or directing him. One such female fan of Shehnaaz Gill had her day recently when she succeeded in walking up to the actress. She wasn’t content with that though. The fan, who was in tears to see her favourite star in such close proximity, presented a gold bracelet to Shehnaaz. The actress, who was moved by the gesture, hesitatingly accepted the gift.
But there was more drama in store when a female security guard tried taking the fan away from Shehnaaz. However, the actress in a visibly strict mode ordered the security personnel to not touch the fan and let her be. This made the fan even more emotional and she tried taking out her ring to present it to her favourite star. Shehnaaz vehemently yet politely refused as she felt that would be too much. The actress hugged and kissed the fan in return.
On the work front, Shehnaaz was a part of the successful Punjabi film Honsla Rakh earlier this year. She will next be seen in the keenly-awaited Salman Khan-starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

Bollywood actress Kajol has already kick-started the promotions of her upcoming film Salaam Venky. Ever since the makers launched the trailer of the film, the actress was spotted at various locations to promote it. However, during her recent appearance, the actress was seen flaunting her swanky BMW X7 SUV worth Rs 1.8 crore.
In one of the video posts shared on the verified social media handle and celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani, Kajol looked stunning in a red saree. The actress can be seen walking with her team at the start of the video. However, as the video progresses further, she can be seen posing along with her expensive car for paps. Interestingly, the actress was spotted near the sets of Salman Khan’s popular reality show Bigg Boss.
However, it is worth mentioning that the makers of Bigg Boss Season 16 have not shared any promo video featuring Kajol, so far. It will be interesting to see if Kajol will enter the Bigg Boss house or join the stage with host Salman Khan for the weekend special episodes.

Talking about her upcoming film, Salaam Venky, produced by BLIVE Productions and RTAKE Studios, it is directed by Revathy. It is slated to release in theatres on December 9, 2022. The ensemble star cast of the film will also feature Mardaani 2 fame Vishal N. Jethwa, Aahana S Kumra, Rahul Bose and Rajeev Khandelwal.
Going by trailer, the film will trace a story of a mother who overcame the most trying conditions with perseverance. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan will also be seen in a cameo appearance.

A day after treating fans with the first motion poster of Cirkus, the makers of the Ranveer Singh starrer dropped three intriguing posters. Each poster captures the star cast of the film in a different mood. For the unversed, the Rohit Shetty directorial is slated to release on December 23 this year.
Interestingly, a week ago, Ranveer had taken to his official Instagram handle and announced the wrap of the film. “Shooting khatam, Promotion ki planning shuru (shooting is over, now planning for promotions starts)! Mass-ter filmmaker ke Mass-ter plans!!! Buahahahaha!,” followed by a clown and a circus tent emoticon.
Post the announcement, Bollywood Hungama was the first to report about the trailer launch of the forthcoming film. A source close to the development told us, “The trailer will be out in the period of December 1 to December 3. The team is planning a grand launch for the trailer and there will be a big build-up leading to the trailer unveil. Like all Rohit Shetty films, the trailer launch will be followed by the launch of two big songs and finally a release on December 23.”
Speaking on the marketing strategy, the source further added, “That aside, the trailer will be screened every single day at all multiplexes until the release of the film. It's a masterstroke from Rohit and Ranveer too was mighty impressed with the marketing brain.”
Interestingly, the upcoming comedy film will be Shetty and Singh’s second collaboration, after 2018’s Simmba and the latter’s cameo in Sooryavanshi, which was released in 2021. Ranveer will be seen playing a double role for the first time. The ensemble star cast of Cirkus also features a bunch of talented actors, including Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Varun Sharma, Tiku Talsania, and Vrajesh Hirjee.

Former Adidas employees have accused the company of turning a blind eye to rapper Kanye West’s alleged bullying and mind games. According to People, a month after Adidas cut ties with West, a group of former employees sent an open letter to the shoe company alleging it turned a blind eye to bullying and inappropriate behavior from the rapper.
In an open letter from former staffers, the 45-year-old rapper has been accused of inappropriate behavior, with claims that the Yeezy founder would show staffers or job candidates’ explicit content like porn on his phone or computer. In addition to showing graphic pictures and videos, the report states that there were allegedly several occasions where West showed the employees intimate and personal photos and clips of his then-wife, Kim Kardashian.
"He has, in years past, exploded at women in the room with offensive remarks, and would resort to sexually disturbing references when providing design feedback," the letter read, according to Rolling Stone.
"This type of response from a brand partner is one that Adidas employees should never be subjected to, nor should Adidas leadership ever tolerate." The letter is reportedly titled "The Truth About Yeezy: A Call to Action for Adidas Leadership."
The report ends with an excerpt from the letter asking for a public apology to the Yeezy team for West's "terrorizing behavior." "As much as we all would love to solely blame Kanye," the letter states, according to Rolling Stone, "the undeniable truth is that the Adidas executive team and the board have been huge enablers."
In a statement to Rolling Stone, an Adidas spokesperson said, "Adidas does not tolerate hate speech and offensive behavior and therefore has terminated the Adidas Yeezy partnership. We have been and continue to be actively engaged in conversations with our employees about the events that lead [sic] to our decision to end the partnership.”
The spokesperson added, “They have our full support and as we're working through the details of the termination, we have been clear that we want to keep our employees' talent and skills within the organization.”

The sequel features the return of Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, Stephen Lang, Matt Gerald, and Sigourney Weaver. Additional cast members include Kate Winslet, Edie Falco, Michelle Yeoh, Vin Diesel, Jemaine Clement, and Oona Chaplin, among others.
Speaking of the franchise, Avatar 3 is tentatively scheduled for December 20, 2024 followed by Avatar 4 to come out on December 18, 2026, and Avatar 5 on December 22, 2028.

The first motion poster of Cirkus has been released on November 25. The quirky poster gives a glimpse of all the major characters in the upcoming film, including Ranveer Singh and Pooja Hegde. For the unversed, the Rohit Shetty directorial’s ensemble star cast includes Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Johnny Liver, Siddhartha Jadhav and Sanjay Mishra, among others.
As the motion poster starts, we can see, “We are back to entertain your family this Christmas,” on a colourful backdrop. As Ranveer will be seen playing a double role in the forthcoming film, the motion poster of Cirkus introduces his characters first. Later, Pooja Hedge can be seen stunning in a yellow saree in her shot, while Jacqueline Fernandez reminds us of the 80s and 90s Bollywood actresses with an iconic hairstyle and her purple attire.

Interestingly, the countdown for the arrival of Rohit Shetty's next, the comedy of error, Cirkus has begun. The team is all set to unveil the trailer at a grand event on December 2 in Mumbai. Bollywood Hungama was the first one to report that Rohit Shetty has locked the trailer of Cirkus.
A trade source told us, “It's a 3-minute 47-second trailer, loaded with comic moments and big scale, with the entire ensemble getting the focus. Rohit has kept a tight campaign leading to release on December 23, and he wants to communicate all that he wants to with the first trailer of the film. He believes to create an impression with the first asset and the ones who have seen the trailer are going gaga over it.”

Filmmaker Samit Kakkad is known for helming films like Aayna Ka Bayna, Half Ticket (both Marathi), Ascharya Chak It, etc. His next is an out-and-out underworld saga in the form of the MX Player web-series Dharavi Bank, which recently started streaming. It tells the story of a tussle between an underworld leader and a powerful cop, played by Suniel Shetty and Vivek Oberoi respectively.
As per the makers, Kakkad was keen on shooting the show in as many real locations as possible and for that he said he received fine support from Vivek. “I've worked with all sorts of actors, across age and experience brackets,” said the filmmaker in a statement. “Vivek has the unique quality to dive deep into his roles, so much so that you have to hold his hand and stop him from going further down. He’s deeply invested in every aspect of a project - his character, the setting, the way it's being told, the lens on his character and the list goes on.”
Sharing his happiness at having Vivek on board, Kakkad added, “I got lucky that my most ambitious project features him because with him, it doesn't take much to crack a scene. He’s prepared at all times with the entire piece that he’s playing out. It was a smooth run with him and I hope there will be more to this in the future.”
Dharavi Bank is Kakkad’s second web show with MX Player after Indori Ishq.

On the first anniversary of the release of Satyameva Jayate 2, director Milap Zaveri took to social media to pen a heartfelt note, where he expressed gratitude towards the entire team including the lead cast John Abraham, Divya Khosla Kumar, and others for supporting him during the time of pandemic. In the same breath, the director maintained that he took full responsibility of the failure of the film at the box office and also opened up about the lessons he learnt post the experience.
Milap Zaveri took to Twitter to share the heartfelt note which read, “1 year since Satyameva Jayate 2 released and failed at the Box office. We gave it our sweat, blood and tears in the middle of the pandemic. A huge cast and crew who were amazing. The film didn't work commercially and I take full and solo responsibility for that. My conviction failed. But I will always be proud of it. I will always love and cherish the process of making it with the people I loved. This past year has been tough. One failure eclipsed the successes like Satyameva Jayate and Marjavaan of the past. Those who answered phones in a jiffy now let it ring out. Many lessons have been learnt. Many walked away. And Many stood by me when the going was hard. But a phoenix always rises from the ashes. Like I once told someone "Mujh mein itna talent hai ki main apna ukhaad loonga" And I will. Coz there are still many who believe in me. Who still believe I will fight back and comeback even stronger.”

Yash Raj Films’ Pathaan is one of the most excitedly awaited films from Bollywood as it marks the comeback of superstar Shah Rukh Khan. On top of that, the action-packed teaser of the movie, which was recently out, upped the anticipation even further. And now, the film’s director Siddharth Anand has revealed a Tom Cruise connection to the film. In order to make Pathaan an even bigger spectacle, the makers have roped in the known Hollywood stunt co-ordinator Casey O’Neil on board. He has worked with some of Tom Cruise’s biggest actioners like Mission Impossible series, Jack Reacher and Top Gun: Maverick, along with a few Marvel Studios and Steven Spielberg films.
Speaking about the association, Siddharth said in a statement, “When one sets out to make the spectacle action film of India with one of the all-time biggest heroes of our country, Shah Rukh Khan, you need to have a champion team that is unified in the vision. Thankfully we got an A-team that came together to push the visual envelope with Pathaan and I was delighted to have someone like Casey O’Neill, who has extensively worked with Tom Cruise, to be by our side.”
Adding onto Casey’s work, the filmmaker added, “He brings in a wealth of experience and he immediately bought into the idea of creating edge-of-the-seat action for Pathaan that could match what he’s done back home in Hollywood. What Casey has created in Pathaan is simply mind-boggling. You will have to see the film for that because we aren’t going to disclose any details from the film till it releases in theatres on 25 Jan.”
Pathaan also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles.

Bollywood actress Kajol is currently gearing up for her upcoming film Salaam Venky. Ever since the makers dropped its trailer, it has managed to garner a positive response from the audience. Apart from Aamir Khan and Kajol’s reunion, the upcoming film will also see another reunion. Kajol, who marked her debut with Bekhudi released in 1992, will reunite with Kamal Sadanah after 30 years.
For the unversed, Kamal rose to fame with the romantic film Rang, which was released in 1993. The film also featured Ayesha Jhulka and Divya Bharti. However, he took a sabbatical from the movies by the end of the 90s and went into direction and production. In Salaam Venky, Kamal will be seen playing a pivotal role.
Speaking of the same, Kamal said, “Shooting with Kajol again made me think that I was on the sets of Bekhudi. She still speaks non-stop and I had to pick my chair up and move to the other side (laughs). But it has been great fun! I can’t talk much about my role. I’m surprised they’ve put me in the trailer because no one was supposed to know that I’m in the film and what my character is all about,” in a statement.
Meanwhile, Kajol asserted, “For the first five to ten minutes, I didn’t say anything. I kept screaming. It was just really nice. We’ve met in between and we know of each other’s whereabouts and everything that’s happening in our lives. But it was lovely working with him again.”
Interestingly, at the trailer launch of Salaam Venky, director Revathy had said, “I didn’t tell Kajol about the actor playing Kamal’s part in the film. There’s a very important scene between the two of them. It was a big surprise for her.”
Salaam Venky is slated to release on December 9.

In a Twitter statement, she said, “Even though it can never be my intention in the least, if the 3 words which have been dragged into a controversy have offended or hurt anyone, I apologize and also say that it would sadden me if even unintentionally my words have triggered this feeling in my brothers in the Fauj, of which my own Nanaji has been an illustrious part. Actress Richa Chadha has been embroiled in a social media controversy following her ‘Galwan tweet’, which now stands deleted. It all started with the Northern Army Commander Lt. General Upendra Dwivedi stating that the Indian Army is ready to take back Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) if given orders by the government of India.
Quote tweeting this news, Richa wrote, “Galwan says hi.” This was her cheeky mention of the controversial territory of Galwan with which India has dispute with China. Her Tweet instantly sparked controversy as she started getting trolled for allegedly mocking the Indian Army.
Reacting strongly to the tweet, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa replied to the now deleted tweet and wrote, “Disgraceful Tweet. Should be withdrawn at the earliest. Insulting our armed forces is not justified.”

As per latest reports, an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor and Ammy Virk has been roped in for filmmaker Mudassar Aziz’s next titled Khel Kheil Mein. The film is said to be produced by Ashwin Varde and the head honcho of T-Series Bhushan Kumar.
It is also reported that the film will be an out-and-out comedy. Mudassar is known for helming comic entertainers like Happy Bhaag Jayegi, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi and Pati Patni Aur Woh. He was also the producer of Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi’s recently-released Double XL.
This will be the first time that Akshay will be directed by Aziz. It will be the actor’s fourth association with Taapsee after Baby, Naam Shabana and Mission Mangal.
Ammy Virk is a star in Punjabi cinema not just for his acting but also singing. He has appeared in Bollywood movies like Bhuj: The Pride Of India and 83.
Reports also state that Khel Kheil Mein will go on floors in the first quarter of 2023.

Well-known names from the mainstream Bollywood industry, including Kabir Khan, Aanand L Rai, Luv Ranjan, Mahaveer Jain and Ananya Birla, will be coming together to have a discussion at the ongoing 53rd edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.
The group of filmmakers and producers would be discussing ways to benefit youngsters wanting to enter the industry. “This powerhouse of a panel is to discuss ways to carve out a path into the growing film industry for newcomers. The idea is that the biggest names in the industry right now shall impart their knowledge and share their ways to empower the film industry,” said an official statement from the organizers.
The statement added, “This noble initiative is in hopes that the change will bring some good and fresh content in (the) industry since the panelists are seasoned film industry specialists and have years of experiences that they are willing to share and empower the upcoming generation.”
This year’s IFFI started on 20th November and will be on till 28th November.
Mahaveer Jain was one of the producers for Sooraj Barjatya’s latest release Uunchai, which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta and Danny Denzongpa. Kabir Khan’s last outing 83 got a lot of critical acclaim.

Harrison Ford is all set to grace big screens by reprising his titular character in the fifth installment of Indiana Jones. While we’re still over 6 months away from watching the adventure seeker get back in the game, here’s as interesting fact revealed about the upcoming adventure film. According to Variety, Ford will be de-aged using visual effects so that Indiana Jones appears in the film as his age from the original trilogy. The de-aging technology is only used in the film’s opening scene, which is set in a castle in 1944 and pits Indiana against a group of Nazis.
“Then we fall out, and you find yourself in 1969,” said director James Mangold who takes over from franchise helmer Steven Spielberg. “So that the audience doesn’t experience the change between the ‘40s and ‘60s as an intellectual conceit, but literally experiences the buccaneering spirit of those early days… and then the beginning of now.”
“My hope is that, although it will be talked about in terms of technology, you just watch it and go, ‘Oh my God, they just found footage. This was a thing they shot 40 years ago’,” added producer Kathleen Kennedy. “We’re dropping you into an adventure, something Indy is looking for, and instantly you have that feeling, ‘I’m in an Indiana Jones movie.’”
As reported by Empire magazine, “Several techniques were employed to pull the sequence off, including new ILM software that trawled through archived material of the younger Harrison Ford before matching it to the freshly-shot footage.” Speaking of his de-aged look in the upcoming instalment, Ford said, “This is the first time I’ve seen it where I believe it.”
“It’s a little spooky,” he added. “I don’t think I even want to know how it works, but it works. It doesn’t make me want to be young, though. I’m glad to have earned my age.” As the report notes, Mads Mikkelsen is playing the film’s antagonist Voller, who is inspired by real-life Nazi-turned-NASA-engineer Wernher von Braun. “He’s a man who would like to correct some of the mistakes of the past,” the actor teased.
“There is something that could make the world a much better place to live in. He would love to get his hands on it. Indiana Jones wants to get his hands on it as well. And so, we have a story.” Besides Ford and Mikkelsen, the film also features Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Toby Jones, Antonio Banderas and John Rhys-Davies.
The fifth entry in the iconic Indiana Jones series is set to release on June 30, 2023.

Birthday boy, Kartik Aaryan seems to be on a roll! The actor has finally dropped the teaser of his most awaited film Shehzada today on the occasion of his birthday as a birthday gift for his fans. For the uninitiated, the film is a remake of the Allu Arjun, Pooja Hegde starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The Hindi version features Kartik alongside his Luka Chuppi co-star Kriti Sanon and is directed by Rohit Dhawan.
Taking to his social media, Kartik Aaryan shared, "Jab baat FAMILY pe aaye toh discussion nahi karte… ACTION karte hain!! A Birthday Gift from your #Shehzada ????" The teaser features Kartik in full on action mode for the first time with many ‘whistle-worthy’, quintessential masala moments. The film seems to feature the actor in a never-seen-before commercial Bollywood hero avatar along with his fun comic timing. The film promises to be full-fledged potboiler.

Speaking about the film, producer Bhushan Kumar said, "Kartik is such a brilliant and nuanced actor and what better way to celebrate our very own Shehzada than this! The first look is a treat for his fans.” Aman Gill also added, "Kartik is a dream to work with, we all had a blast shooting this film, his personality is infectious so we thought this would be a sweet little thing we did for his birthday to celebrate Shehzada's birthday with the first look of our film."
On the work front, currently, Kartik Aaryan is awaiting the release of Freddy which features him in the role of a socially awkward dentist who falls in love with the married Alaya F in this unique suspense thriller. The film is expected to premiere on Disney+Hotstar on December 2. Besides that, he also has Satyaprem ki Katha, Aashiqui 3 and Kabir Khan's untitled next in the pipeline.

Known for his intense performance in Drishyam 2, Ajay Devgn is currently enjoying the rave reviews he is garnering for his recent release. While that one too is a remake of a South suspense thriller franchise, the next one featuring the actor will also be another remake of a popular Tamil film. Fans of the star, who were eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of him in his next titled Bholaa, are in for a surprise, as they were thrilled to see the actor return to his intense avatar in the teaser.
The teaser starts with an orphanage where a little girl is asked to be ready, as one of her relatives is expected to visit her. Followed by the scene, the teaser shifts to prison, where jail inmates introduce Ajay Devgn as an intense and powerful man, whose identity is unknown. But all these prisoners know is that the guy can turn people into ashes. Sharing the teaser on his Instagram, Ajay posted the tagline of the film as caption which read, “Kaun hai woh... jisko pata hai, woh khud laapata hai #BholaaTeaserOutNow #BholaaIn3D”

By now, readers would be aware that Bholaa is a remake of the Karthi starrer Kaithi which released in 2019. The film was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and it is expected to the first film in the LCU gangster universe. During the promotions of PS 1 in Mumbai, Karthi had opened up about how he is excited to watch Ajay reprising his role onscreen. He was quoted in a report to PTI saying, “I'm looking forward to seeing what will be the take that he's going to give. I'm sure he'll have some changes to it, creatively, and he will explore it more. So I'm very eager to watch Bholaa."
Bholaa also stars Tabu in a pivotal role and marks the fourth directorial of Ajay Devgn. The film is expected to release on March 30, 2023.
