The duo first met on the sets of their show "Rishton Ka Saudagar - Baazigar" and fell in love with each other while shooting for the series. Since then, they have been setting couple goals for their fans. Recently, the duo announced that they are expecting their first child.  On Friday morning, March 31, Ishita Dutta and Vatsal Sheth shared a joint post on their respective social media handles to share the good news. In the two-photo post, the couple can be seen in coordinated outfits against a picturesque backdrop on the beach. In fact, in one of the photos, Vatsal can be seen posing for the camera while giving Ishita’s baby bump a kiss.  Captioning the image, they wrote, “Baby on Board,” followed by a red-heart emoticon. The ‘Besharam Rang’ controversy arose when a few fringe groups called for a boycott of the film Pathaan after objections were raised over the colour of Deepika Padukone's bikini in the song. Many demanded that the song be removed or the colour of the costume be changed. However, the makers did not make any changes, and the film was eventually released to positive reviews from the audience. Speaking of the same, director Siddharth Anand shared the story behind choosing an orange colour bikini. It all happened during the News18 Rising India summit 2023. While addressing the issue, Siddharth stated that he chose the costume “randomly” and “never gave it too much thought.” He asserted, “The colour was looking nice. It was sunny, the grass was greener and the water was blue and the orange colour was looking good.” Anand further explained, “We thought when the audience would watch it they would understand that our intent was not wrong.” As he continued, Siddharth mentioned that “they were not scared” while calling the boycott “white noise.” He was quoted saying, “We knew that there was nothing objectionable in our film.” According to Siddharth, he would not hold the audience accountable for their initial reaction to the controversy since they had not seen the film at that point. He expressed gratitude for the audience's overwhelming response to the film, stating that they had shown great support by flocking to theatres to watch it. Concluding his take, the 44-year-old director said, “They (the audience) proved the whole boycott movement wrong. And when you are calling for a boycott of a star or a movie, you are not seeing how many people’s livelihood is dependent on that particular movie especially if it works. At least three hundred people work on a film every day. And when the shoot gets over so many VFX artists work on the post-production. It’s very easy to say boycott, that too, without reason.” Coming to the professional front, Siddharth is currently busy with the shooting of his next venture, Fighter, starring Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan. In March 2022, the Andheri Magistrate Court had issued a summons to Salman Khan and his bodyguard Nawaz Shaikh after a journalist filed a complaint against the actor in 2019 accusing the actor of misbehaving with him. It was later challenged in the High Court. As per the latest update in the case,  the Bombay High Court, on Thursday, quashed the private case. A single-judge bench of Justice Bharati H Dangre had concluded the hearing. The single bench also reserved its orders in the plea by Salman Khan and his bodyguard on March 21. Dangre said, “Let people have their own privacy, Whether it is an actor, lawyer or judge. None of you is above the law. Neither an actor nor a press person. Even they are bound to follow the law,” during the hearing. Meanwhile, the actor's lawyer, senior counsel Aabad Ponda, claimed that the journalist's words and stance had significantly improved. For the unversed, a journalist had claimed that he along with a camera person, tried to film Khan when the actor was cycling. In his complaint, he alleged that though he had the bodyguards’ permission, they allegedly manhandled him and snatched his phone after Khan objected to being photographed. He also alleged that the D N Nagar police had refused to file a complaint, after which he filed a private complaint before the magistrate, seeking criminal action against the actor and his bodyguard. On April 5 of last year, the high court issued a stay of the proceedings, which it upheld intermittently. Karan Johar is getting ready for the new season of his smash-hit talk show Koffee With Karan. Preparations are on to lock in the dates for Season 8. Filmmaker Om Raut and producer Bhushan Kumar recently visited the holy Vaishno Devi temple on the occasion of Navratri and to seek blessings for their upcoming keenly awaited film Adipurush, which stars Prabhas and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. For the unversed, Vaishno Devi is one of the foremost pilgrimage sites in India, situated in Jammu and Kashmir. Sharing more about the visit, a statement from the makers said, “Remarking the creation of universe and beginning of the world by Maa Shri Durga, Chaitra Navratri holds immense significance in the Hindu culture! With this belief and Shri Gulshan Kumar’s immense faith in Maa Vaishno Devi, the makers seek divine blessings for Adipurush.” Adipurush is the retelling of the great Indian epic Ramayana. The film will see Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh and Saif Ali Khan essay the roles of Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman and Raavan respectively. Nawazuddin Siddiqui has moved the court for defaming and maligning his image and has filed a defamation suit against Shamas Nawab Siddiqui and former wife Aaliya Siddiqui seeking damages of Rs. 100 crores. As per current reports, the hearing will be held on March 30 by Justice RI Chagla. The suit has come after several allegations were thrown against the Kick actor after his wife accused the Siddiqui family of harassment and torture. In his suit, the actor has alleged that the allegations thrown towards him has affected his public image. In the suit that has been filed through advocate Sunil Kumar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has alleged that he is unable to make any kind of appearances or attend social gatherings owing to the many accusations thrown towards him. He has alleged that these ‘misleading claims’ have impacted his career and hence, he has also requested the court to pass an order of injunction to restrict his brother and estranged wife Anjana Pandey alias Aaliya Siddiqui from making any more defamatory comments against him, along with a request added for taking down the already existing remarks and statements against him. Furthermore, in the same suit, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has also alleged that his brother has committed several fraudulent transactions which has resulted in major monetary loss for the actor. The actor has further alleged that due to misappropriation of funds, the actor currently owes a whopping amount of Rs. 37 crores to the government, after his brother failed to make some major payments. Furthermore, he has also accused his wife Aaliya Siddiqui of being an accomplice to his brother and misappropriating Rs. 21 crores. As per the given report, when Nawazuddin confronted his brother regarding the missing funds, the latter is claimed to have ‘instigated’ Nawaz’s estranged wife against the Siddiqui family, which led to her alleging that how her in-laws tortured and harassed her. Over a week ago, Bollywood actor Salman Khan's security was beefed up by the Mumbai Police after one of his associates, Jordy Patel, received a threat via an email. His close friend Prashant Gunjalkar filed a complaint regarding the same and a case was registered at the Bandra Police Station in Mumbai against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar and a person named Rohit Garg under IPC sections 506(2),120(b) & 34. Now, Mumbai Police has arrested a man named Dhakad Ram Bishnoi in Jodhpur in connection with the email threatening case. As per reports, Dhakad Ram Bishnoi (21) is a resident of Siyagon ki Dhani in Rohicha Kalan village in Jodhpur. He was reportedly out on bail under the Arms Act. Gaurav Yadav, Jodhpur’s DCP (West), said that a team from Mumbai’s Bandra Police had arrived to arrest him. “They asked us to assist them in detaining Bishnoi. We provided them with the support and handed Bishnoi over to the Mumbai PoliceYadav said, as reported by PTI on Sunday. "After a detailed technical investigation into the case, police got information about the accused person's whereabouts, following which a team was sent to Rajasthan and the man was apprehended," a police official said. According to a previous report in PTI, a police official said that “two Assistant Police Inspector (API)-rank officers and eight to ten constables will be part of Khan's security detail round the clock.” The official also added that fans won’t be allowed to assemble outside Salman’s Galaxy Apartments residence in Bandra. It was earlier reported that Y-plus security has been provided to Salman Khan by the police. He will also travel in bullet-proof car with his personal security detail. Additional security measures have also been given to the actor. As per reports, a person named Rohit Garg allegedly issued the threat and mentioned Goldy Brar, Canadian gangster's name, saying the latter wants to meet the actor in person. Recently, Lawrence Bishnoi also allegedly said that killing Salman is his life's goal. In a recent report shared by ABP News, Bishnoi was quoted saying, “There is anger in our society for Salman Khan. He humiliated my society. A case was filed against him but he did not apologize. If he does not tender an apology, be ready to face the consequences. I will not depend on anyone else.” He went on to add that he has been harboring the feeling of hatred ever since childhood. Bishnoi continued, “Will break his ego sooner or later. He should come to our deity’s temple and apologize. Released in 2015, Bajrangi Bhaijaan not only became one of the biggest hits but also a film that found mass acceptance. Starring Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and child actress Harshali Malhotra, the film about the unusual bond between a simpleton Indian and a little Pakistani girl moved hearts. Last year, fans of Salman Khan had a moment of rejoice when the sequel of Bajrangi Bhaijaan titled Pavan Putra was announced. The thought of seeing their favourite star essay the same role again was reason enough to excite them. But there was no update on the project following the announcement. But now, Bollywood Hungama has learnt that Salman has brought Pooja Hegde on board for Pavan Putra. In other words, the film will see her replacing Kareena Kapoor. Whether Pooja will play the same character that Kareena played in the first film is not known yet. Interestingly, Pooja is also the leading lady in Salman’s upcoming release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film is all set to release during Eid in April this year. Sonu Nigam’s father Agamkumar Nigam has filed an FIR (First Information Report) against his former driver for allegedly stealing Rs. 72 lakh from his residence in Mumbai. The singer's father lives at Windsor Grand building in Oshiwara, Andheri west. The alleged robbery took between March 19 and March 20. The FIR was registered by Sonu Nigam's sister Nikita who reached Oshiwara police station in the wee hours of Wednesday. As per the complaint, Agamkumar Nigam has a driver named Rehan for 8 months but was sacked from the job after his performance was unsatisfactory, as told by an official. As per a report in PTI, an official said that Agamkumar visited Nikita's home in the Versova area on March 19 for lunch. He was back at his residence after sometime. He called his daughter in the evening to inform her that “Rs 40 lakh was missing from a digital locker kept in a wooden cupboard.” Agamkumar Nigam visited his son's house the next day at 7 Bungalows for visa-related work. He returned home later that evening to find out Rs. 32 lakh were missing from the locker and that it wasn't damaged. As per the report, the official added, “Agamkumar and Nikita checked the CCTV footage of his society which showed his former driver Rehan going towards his flat with a bag on both days when he was away. Agamkumar suspects Rehan entered his flat with the help of a duplicate key and stole Rs. 72 lakh from the digital locker in the bedroom.” An FIR has been filed under the Indian Penal Code sections 380, 454 and 457 for robbery and trespassing. The release date of the Akshay Kumar, Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal starrer Hindi remake of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru is out. The Sudha Kongara directorial venture will be releasing in theatres on September 1 this year. Produced by Abundantia Entertainment and 2D Entertainment, the yet untitled film is tentatively called Production No. 27. Released in November 2020, Soorarai Pottru starred Suriya, Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal and Mohan Babu, among others. The film was also helmed by Sudha Kongara. The Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru went on floors in April 2022 in an auspicious way through the breaking of a coconut by Radhika. The video of the same was shared by Akshay back then. He had also asked his fans to suggest a title for the film. “With the auspicious coconut-breaking and a small prayer in our heart, we begin the filming of our yet untitled film which is about dreams and the power of it ???? In case you’ll have any title suggestions, do share and of course your best wishes,” said the actor in the caption. Rani Mukerji found success early in her career after the stupendous success of Ghulam, where she was paired opposite Aamir Khan. However, despite what Ghulam, which was directed by Vikram Bhatt, achieved, Rani has said that her “soul” was missing from the film because her voice was dubbed by someone else, although this wasn’t the case in her Bollywood debut Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat in 1997. She recalled the experience during a chat with E Times saying, “As a newcomer, you don’t have much of a choice. Filmmakers take decisions for the betterment of their film. So yes, but just in Ghulam, my voice did get dubbed. During Ghulam, there was a question mark on my voice on whether it was good for a leading lady opposite Aamir. I was told that for the betterment of the film, my voice had been dubbed. It hurt me but I didn't make a big deal of it. But I still feel that my soul is not in Ghulam.” Rani’s voice was dubbed by Mona Shetty, who is an accomplished dubbing artiste today. Following Ghulam, Rani’s big break came in the blockbuster Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. This turned out to be a pleasant experience for her. She added, “Soon, I was there in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Karan Johar asked me if I had a problem in dubbing my voice. I said ‘no’. He asked me if my first film Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat had my own voice, and when I said yes, he said he likes my voice and wanted me to dub.” Hence, Rani started dubbing for her own self from here onwards. Readers would recall the 1990s blackbuck case where allegedly Salman Khan along with a few cast members of Hum Saath Saath Hain was accused of killing the rare species. Soon after the case, Khan received several threatening notes and was even attacked, which was later reportedly said to be the work of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The gangster, who is currently in jail for allegedly murdering Punjabi musician Sidhu Moosewala, is said to have threatened the actor and has asked Khan to apologize to his community. Claiming that the blackbuck is expected to be an auspicious species of his community, Lawrence Bishnoi has reportedly maintained that his entire community has been furious with Salman Khan. In a report shared by ABP News, Bishnoi was quoted saying, “There is anger in our society for Salman Khan. He humiliated my society. A case was filed against him but he did not apologise. If he does not tender an apology, be ready to face the consequences. I will not depend on anyone else.” He went on to add that he has been harboring the feeling of hatred ever since childhood. It's been three months since Ishaan Khatter starrer Pippa was deferred from its theatrical release. The film was supposed to release on December 2, 2022. However, it seems like now the makers are prepping for a direct-to-digital premiere for the movie. As per a report in Mid-Day, this development of opting for an OTT release has happened due to "Ronnie Screwvala’s legal battle with four national multiplex chains for anti-competitive collusion, with respect to the undue imposition of Virtual Print Fee (VPF)." Ronnie Screwvala, who is producing the movie with Siddharth Roy Kapur, has reportedly petitioned the Competition Commission of India (CCI) "against multiplexes making producers and distributors pay Rs 20,000 for every film screened at every property as VPF, calling it a draconian discriminatory charge that multiplex chains are forcibly imposing." Back then, CCI had noted the producer couldn't prove his allegations at the time, the dealings between the producer and the multiplex chains haven't gone down well. However, the makers are very content with the project has turned out and are planning for a digital release soon. Based on ‘The Burning Chaffees’ written by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta and scored by Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman, Pippa is a heroic tank battle film that underscores the bravery of Brigadier Mehta, a veteran of the 45th Cavalry tank squadron, who, along with his siblings, fought on the eastern front during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971, which led to the liberation of India's neighbour Bangladesh. Actor-choreographer Salman Yusuff Khan, on Wednesday, took to his social media handle and dropped a video alleging that he was harassed and asked to speak in Kannada by an immigration officer at the Bengaluru international airport. Salman went on his Instagram Live to narrate the “disturbing” incident where he felt harassed by the officer. Along with the video, he shared the details of the incident in the caption as well. He tagged Kempegowda International Airport and wrote, “On my way to Dubai and I meet this immigration officer who speaks to me in Kannada .. and I in my broken Kannada try to tell him that I understand the language but can’t speak so well to which he continues to speak in Kannada and shows me my passport and points out my name and my birthplace and my father’s name and his birthplace and has the audacity to tell me that .. you and your father are born in Bangalore and u can’t speak Kannada.” The dancer-choreographer also added that when he tried to defend himself saying that he can speak Hindi instead, the officer still insisted that he could “suspect” Salman “for anything”. Veteran actor Sameer Khakhar, well known for playing Khopri in the television series Nukkad passed away at the age 71. Over the course of his 38-year acting career, he appeared in numerous TV episodes and movies. The actor moved to the USA and worked as a Java coder after taking a brief hiatus from show business. When the recession hit in 2008, he returned to India and pursued his first love, acting. He went back, performed in two Gujarati plays, and became well-known for the role he played in Salman Khan's movie Jai Ho. Sameer was admitted to M M Hospital, Borivali where he breathed his last. As per the reports, today at 10:30 a.m., at Babhai Naka Crematorium in Borivali, will be Sameer's funeral. Ganesh Khakhar, Sameer's cousin, stated in an exclusive interview with ETimes that his death was caused by multiple organ failure. He stated, “He was suffering from respiratory issues, then he went to sleep and went unconscious. We called the doctor and he suggested that we admit him in the hospital. His heart was not working properly and had urinatory issues too. He was kept on ventilator, gradually he collapsed at 4:30am this morning.” In a 2021 interview with indianexpress.com, the actor had expressed enthusiasm about acting in front of the camera again, but confessed that he's a bit old-school in his approach and can't sell himself. He said, “I don’t want to sound sad and say I am not satisfied with how things are at the moment. However, I am really hoping that the quantum of work I am looking for, comes my way. I am eager to get in front of the camera, and can only wish to get some good offers this year.” He further added, “One cannot become a good actor by running around asking for work. I am also a little old school, and cannot sell myself. I don’t understand how to market. I am sure people who know me and my work will reach out when they have something for me.” The actor worked in both the film and television sectors. In addition to Nukkad, Manorajan, Circus, Naya Nukkad, Shrimaan Shrimati, and Adaalat, he has worked on several important television programmes. He was last seen in Sanjivani which starred Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna.

Netflix’s The Elephant Whisperers bagged the first win for India at the 95th Oscars in Documentary Short Film category. This documentary marks the directorial debut of Kartiki Gonsalves. The documentary is produced by Guneet Monga and Achin Jain under the banner of Sikhya Entertainment. The documentary was screened at the United States of America’s largest and most prestigious documentary festival - DOC NYC 2022 Film Festival on November 10, 2022. Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee will be coming together for the first time in one-of-its-kind Indian film Jawan that will feature a mix of South and Bollywood celebrities. With the film featuring many firsts including the Bollywood debut of Nayanthara, yet another interesting piece of news has come to light regarding the film. Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Dutt will be coming together for this action entertainer, however, the latter will be doing a cameo. In a recent Peeping Moon report, a source has confirmed the developments and was quoted saying, "The casting for this brief but vital role has been quite difficult for Atlee, as it required an A-list star who had never appeared on screen alongside Shah Rukh. Allu Arjun was earlier offered this role, but he turned it down due to a scheduling conflict and his commitment to the highly anticipated Pushpa: The Rule. Shortly after Allu’s refusal, the makers went to Sanju Baba, and now he has agreed to do this role for SRK." This is not the first time where Sanjay will be doing a special appearance in a Shah Rukh Khan film. In the past, he has made a brief appearance in films like Ra One and Om Shanti Om. Talking about Jawan, not only has Sanjay Dutt agreed to do the role but he will also soon start shooting in Mumbai. As of now, the actor is in Kashmir shooting for a major schedule of Thalapathy Vijay starrer Leo. Soon he will be returning to the maximum city to shoot for this sequence in a studio. Furthermore, it is also being said that lavish sets will be mounted to shoot this SRK-Sanjay sequence on a grand scale. Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai fame Shubhangi Atre has confirmed separation from her husband Piyush Poorey. The couple has decided to part ways after a nineteen-year-long marriage. Shubhangi herself confirmed the news during her conversation with Times Of India. Speaking of the same, she told the portal, “It’s been almost a year since we are not living together. Piyush and I tried our best to save our marriage. Mutual respect, companionship, trust, and friendship are the foundation of a strong marriage.” She further added, “However, we eventually realised that we couldn’t resolve our differences and decided to give each other space and concentrate on our individual lives and careers.” Shedding light on the process of making the final decision, Atre explained, “It’s still difficult. My family is my top priority, and we all want our families around us. But some damages are beyond repair. When a relationship of so many years breaks, it’s bound to affect you mentally and emotionally. I was also affected, but we had to take this step, and I have come to terms with it. Mental stability is paramount. I have always believed that adversities teach you a lesson.” During the conversation, she also spoke about their daughter Ashi. Bollywood Ranbir Kapoor has been busy promoting Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The film, released in theatres today on the occasion of Holi, marks his return to the romantic comedy genre after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The film stars Shraddha Kapoor and is helmed by Luv Ranjan. However, he hasn't signed any project apart from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal and Brahmastra sequels by Ayan Mukerji. The actor says that Ayan is already writing the sequel and the project is expected to go on floors by year end. Speaking to Pinkvilla, Ranbir Kapoor shared, "We have to make Brahmastra 2 and 3. Ayan (Mukerji, director) is writing the film right now and hopefully, we will start it by the end of this year or next year." Brahmastra: Part 1 - Shiva released in September 2022 and was a project that was 12 years in the making.  It starred Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has released in theatres on March 8. Helmed by Luv Ranjan, the film also stars Shraddha Kapoor. Last week, reports came in that two youths sneaked into Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic bungalow Mannat. They were later caught and handed over to the police. Now, reports have emerged that the teenagers had remained hidden in one of the rooms in the bungalow and had given Shah Rukh Khan the shock of his life. As per a report in The Times Of India, the names of these trespassers are Pathan Sahil Salim Khan, aged 18, and Ram Khushuva, aged 19. While the former is a labourer, the latter is a vegetable seller. Both belong to Bharuch, Gujarat and they came to Mumbai on March 1 to see Shah Rukh Khan. On March 2, at 3:00 am, they reached Mannat and taking advantage of the scaffolding erected for repairs, they jumped inside the bungalow. The report further states that they entered the make-up room and remained there till 10:30 am. This is when Shah Rukh Khan entered this room and saw the duo. As expected, the superstar was left shocked and he immediately called a staffperson from his housekeeping team. They were handed to the security team and later were taken away by the police. The police kept them in their custody for a day and realized that they were no evidence of malicious intent. On Saturday, March 4, their parents arrived in Mumbai and secured their bail. A payment of Rs. 20,000 was done to release them from police custody. The parents claimed that they had no idea about the plans of the duo to come to Mumbai. Meawhile, the report claimed that Pathan Sahil Salim Khan and Ram Khushuva suffered minor injuries on their nose while scaling the compound wall of Mannat. Ranbir Kapoor had recently said that he was keen to work with filmmaker Luv Ranjan after he saw the latter’s Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. His wish finally came true with Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which is all set to release day after tomorrow in cinemas. The romantic comedy sees him cast opposite Shraddha Kapoor for the first time. But Bollywood Hungama has learnt that even before that film hits the screens, Luv has offered two more films to Ranbir. One of the two projects is the keenly looked forward biopic of the former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly. The film has been in the news ever since it was announced in 2021. Ranbir also recently said that he is keen to don the role of the cricketer who is nicknamed Dada. Luv, however, won’t be directing the film, which is in the developmental stage right now. He will produce the project as he has the rights. The second film also sounds equally exciting. This yet-untitled movie will see Luv venturing into the action genre for the first. Interestingly, he was keen to cast Ajay Devgn with Ranbir in the film, but it got dropped because of date issues. Both actors were cast as brothers in the film.
